Well-designed and separate computer labs for kids and older children, run by a well-educated and qualified faculty, with one-on-one access, which means there is one computer for each child. Pre – primary kids learn words through PowerPoint presentations and innovative software.
There are 30 computers in our labs currently. They are state-of-the-art with multimedia, most of them with 18″ LCD monitors that are easier on eyes, generate less heat and consume less power thereby keeping the classroom atmosphere comfortable for children. We use our own LAN with Windows 10 for teaching-learning, documentation and presentations. Currently we can claim 1:15 as the ‘student to computer ratio’ on campus.
Our School has joined hands with Next Education India to create Smart Classrooms for all our children.
Students begin understanding, exploring, building and learning concepts through power point presentations and videos on their smart boards, thus enhancing visual–spatial learning. The tools provided are very interactive and are enriched with attractive images and reader friendly content. Also, this digital classroom solution serves to improve the children’s attention span in class
The School has well equipped laboratories For Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students are encouraged to use these laboratories to learn through experiments. Every year latest instruments, specimens, charts etc. are purchased for these laboratories.
For the primary kids, there is a scenic, theme based park with play equipments like bars, swings, see-saws, cycle-merry go rounds, theme based slides which makes one surprised whether they have stepped into a wonderland. St Paul's park has play safe area that offers excellent impact absorption properties, which cushion the probability of unpleasant injuries. This makes it an excellent surface for flooring in children’s play areas. Soft landing for tender feet: In addition to absorbing the impact of falls and reducing accidents, play safe is also healthier as it is more hygienic.
The School library is a welcoming place for studying as well as reading. It supports the students and teachers by providing access to current, adequate and appropriate information resources. We ensure that all the students, teachers and staff effectively use the ideas and information. The library encourages the love of reading and the development of student’s independent learning skills.
The purpose of a library is to motivate children to read outside the textbook and develop a well rounded personality. Library period is incorporated in the time table so children have to compulsorily visit a library. This forms a habit of reading and most of the children continue the same even after passing out of the school.
